The world is taking a new look with digital development. Africa is looking to leap-frog development through digital development. No doubt, the world has been revolutionized through digital technologies. There are a good number of technologies across every sector of an economy that can help boost productivity. Africa and the remaining underdeveloped countries across the globe need to plunge into the technology abundance available so as to stimulate lasting economic growth.

In 2019, the whole world celebrated 50% productivity, this milestone took the world 50

years to achieve. However, it is believed that with digital development, the remaining 50% productivity will not take the world the next  50 years – Boutheina Guermazi, Director Digital Development World Bank.
